O Christ, Before supper, you washed the feet of your disciples, who except for one, were pure. This action was at once a sign of your love,
a law of your gospel, a call for humility in one who leads, an example of service, and a commandment to love. Sedro, Thursday of Mysteries Evening Prayer, Maronite Liturgy. Image by Fr Lawrence Lew, O.P.

Holy Thursday or Thursday of the Holy Mysteries is the first day of the Easter Triduum. On that day Jesus had His Last Supper with His disciples and founded the sacraments, especially the Sacrament of the Eucharist and the Priesthood.
O Lord, you invited us to share in this Passover by giving us your body and blood. May we share in your passion and death so that we may one day be reborn with you in glory. Second Prayer, Thursday of Mysteries Morning, Maronite Liturgy. Image by Fr Lawrence Lew, O.P. May we see your blessed hand in times of misfortune, your purification in times of trial, the path of Golgotha in the difficulties of life, and the cross of redemption in suffering.

O Christ, may our sufferings be a path of glory to the Father as were yours. Third Prayer, Tuesday Morning of Passion Week, Maronite Liturgy. Through your passion, may we be fortified against temptations. Guide us on our way, grant us victory over the enemy, and make us worthy of the kingdom.
Opening Prayer, Tuesday Morning of Passion Week, Maronite Liturgy. We are entering the most important week of the liturgical year, the week that prepares us to live intensely the Christian Mystery of the Death and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ: The Passion Week.

As we prepare for the great week of the Lord's passion and death, and as we follow the Lord on the way to the cross, may we remain ever faithful to Him who is our Savior and Lord. In our hands we carry olive branches and with love sing along with the children: “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” Hosanna Sunday Morning, second prayer, Maronite Liturgy. Image: Hosanna Sunday Maronite icon. O Lord, we recall your wonderful sign, when you opened the eyes of the blind man.
May we praise you with eyes full of light and a believing conscience. Sunday Morning Bartimeus the Blind, Maronite Liturgy Image: Detail from Maronite icon "The Healing of The Blind Man". This time is a time of fasting, repentance and prayer, when we must take you for our model and walk in your steps. It is a sacred time when we receive grace and mercy. Maronite Liturgy
During this blessed Lent may we meditate on your passion, carry your cross and follow you, that we may reach the glory of your resurrection. Maronite Liturgy
