September 8 is the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
"Mary is a woman full of warmth, humanity, enthusiasm and vitality. Everything in her speaks since she carries the Living Word. Mary, of whom the Gospel speaks, is a woman from our land who resembles us, or, more correctly, the woman we are called to resemble..She is a great lady, Our Lady, the Lady of All. She is a unique woman whose presence and example help women and men alike. She is bright-faced, mild-manned, kind and tender. If you have ever met such a woman in your life, you are fortunate because you have known, in one way or another, Mary who is from our land…Mary whom God has chosen to carry the joy of heaven, the Beloved of the Father, her son Jesus." An excerpt from the article "Mary, Mother of the Church" by Sr. Mary Antoinette Saade. Do not start anything on earth if it does not end in heaven. From the Experiences of Raymond Nader with Saint Sharbel.
Read more from this Experience. Read the story of Raymond Nader’s Experience with Saint Sharbel. He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The others at table said to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” But he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Luke 7:48-50
