Testimony of Sargon Edward Odisho
Sargon Edward Odisho, an Assyrian, from Al Hasaka, Syria, was born in Sweden in 1995. He currently resides in Sweden, and is an employee at the Volvo Company. The mother recounts her son’s health.
“My name is Amal Lazare, the mother of Sargon Edward Odisho. I certify that my son was hit by a car, as he was riding his motorcycle in Autori, during the month of June in 2014. He flew 50 meters up in the air. He went into a coma. He was admitted to Sahlgrenska University Hospital.”
The x-rays showed that he had fractures in his skull, chest, arms and legs and parts of his ankles. He was admitted into the intensive care unit for a month and a half. On the 15th of July, the doctors asked his mother to bid him farewell. Since he was in a non-recovering coma, the doctors were to have the devices removed.
Amal entered his room, held his hand as she lamented, and said,” Who are you leaving me to? You are my only son, and you are leaving me heart broken.”
She gazed out of the window and started talking with the Lord, “Lord and Saint Sharbel, if my son is meant to be with me, have him return to me, and if he is not meant to be with me, I offer him as a gift to you. Bring him back to me and I vow to sleep with him in front of Saint Sharbel Shrine door for three days and three nights.
At that instant, Sargon started screaming and crying. The nurse rang the bell. Ten doctors entered the room, requesting the mother leave for ten minutes.
After that, a doctor came up to her, took hold of her shoulders and told her, “The nurse heard you talking to someone. Who were you talking to?”
“Saint Sharbel,” she replied. “He is a Saint from our region and he is my healing doctor.”
The doctor told her that her son was dead and Saint Sharbel brought him back from death.
She had already placed Saint Sharbel’s oil and incense under his pillow.
Sargon tried to fulfill his mother’s vow; however, he was not able to until this day. He came from Sweden to fulfill the vow on the 27th of April 2022. All the glory and gratitude to the Lord Jesus.
