Testimony of Rita Sami Abou Atme
Miss Rita Sami Abou Atme, born in Mashmoushe in 1961, resides in Jdeideh El-Metn. She tells of her health state with medical reports attached.
“On January 5, 2020, I felt a burning sensation in my urine with blood. I went to Dr. Mazloum at Daher El Bashek Public Hospital for a checkup. He examined me through an endoscopy and discovered a cyst in my bladder. He requested I undergo 6 hygienic cleansings using ‘PSG’ medicine. At that time, all hospitals were closed because of the C-19 epidemic. Three weeks later, hospitals opened again, however, the medicine was no longer effective. I then underwent a scanner upon the request of Doctor Joseph Makdissi.
I was diagnosed with cancer in my bladder. He gave me eight chemotherapy sessions. My immunity dropped and I needed two units of blood. I was treated at Karantina Hospital.
After completing my chemo sessions, I was asked to visit a surgeon and have my bladder removed. A urine drainage bag should be implanted around my waist.
The doctor requested a scanner, and since I am devoted to Saint Sharbel, I was asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus Christ to heal me from my illness. Saint Sharbel appeared to me at the time of the scanner. He made me laugh. I told him, “Saint Sharbel please stop making me laugh as it will spoil the scanner.” He told me, “Do not fear; I am with you.”
I was healed. I took the report and scanner and visited Doctor Fady Hashem. He had me go through an MRI scan and removed a sample for a biopsy. He was fascinated by the results he saw and told me, “Go visit Saint Sharbel, the heavenly doctor, in the robe you are wearing, and thank him for the grace of the healing he has performed. Congratulations, you have received an amazing grace. You have been healed!”
On November 2, I visited Saint Sharbel to offer him gratitude for the grace of healing, with all the medical reports as proof. Glory be to you, O Lord, and thanks to Saint Sharbel for the grace of the miracle.
