Testimony of Mirna Antonios Ibrahim

“Two hours after I was born, I had to undergo surgery in my back in which I was stitched together 54 times to cover up my spinal cord. I was in a critical condition and in danger of epilepsy. Because of the surgery, I had difficulty walking and had no sensation in my toes. Dr. Asmat Ghanem diagnosed my case and said that I suffered from Sacral Myelomeningocele. My surgery is very pricey and I was not able to afford it.
I headed to the heavenly doctor, Saint Sharbel, and prayed for his intercession with the Lord Jesus Christ to heal my foot. I embraced his picture, telling him, ‘Father, I place my life between your hands, do what you want with it.’ Thus, his picture was moved from between my hands and onto my foot, where the pain was. His hands touched my foot. I started to feel and sense my toes. As I got off of my bed, I started walking normally. I was healed.
I visited Dr. Asmat Ghanem and requested that he examine my foot. As he was filling up my file, he was surprised to find my file from 10 years ago. He then examined me and asked me to walk in front of him. I did. He examined my foot and he was certain that I had been cured. He asked me who was the doctor that did the surgery. My reply was from Doctor Sharbel Makhlouf. He then congratulated me, wished me health and gave me the medical report in which his conclusion came as follows, “I had treated her 10 years ago. To my surprise, there was an obvious improvement in the sensation and movement of the feet. No medical or scientific explanation can be used to justify this case.”
Together with my fiancée, I came to pay Saint Sharbel gratitude for the grace of the miracle. This miracle was registered on October 22, 2021.
