Testimony of May Iskandar Daher
Mrs. May Iskandar Daher is married to Mr. Nabih Al- Hajj from Petromin. She was Roman Orthodox born in Tripoli in 1944. Her primary residence is in Tripoli, but she is currently living in Dubai with her daughter.
Mrs. May contracted coronavirus and was taken to the Al-Malek Hospital in Dubai by her daughter. For three months, her state worsened and all treatments were to no avail as she was on death’s doorstep.
When her relatives in Lebanon found out about her state, they headed to Annaya asking Saint Sharbel to intercede with the Lord Jesus Christ for her healing. They sent her oil, a girdle, the saint’s garb, holy soil, and Saint Sharbel’s pictures until her hospital room appeared like a shrine for Saint Sharbel.
Her daughter knew nothing about Saint Sharbel and had never asked for his intercession before. She was surprised by the faith people had in this Saint. The daughter told Saint Sharbel, “I do not know you, and I know nothing about you. I have never prayed for you. Because of the faith, I see the people have in you, I ask you to heal my mother.” She then poured the holy oil from the little bottle into her mother’s mouth. As the oil entered her mouth, her illness disappeared and her mother was healed.
She flew with her mother from Dubai to give thanks to Saint Sharbel. The miracle was registered on June 5, 2022.
