Testimony of Maria Abboud Hanna
Mrs. Maria Abboud Hanna was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1989 and is from Mousaitbe, Beirut. She is married to Barakat Assi and works at the airport customs in Sweden. She belongs to the Syriac Orthodox sect and resides in Stockholm. She recounts her health based on medical records.
“I felt pain in my nose and it became swollen. I went to the doctor with my husband for a check-up. He advised me to get some medical tests done. It appeared that I had a type of cancerous disease in the sinuses. They performed a biopsy and this disease was confirmed.
I started praying to Saint Sharbel and the Lord Jesus. I asked Jesus for the grace of healing or dying because of the excessive pain. My mother vowed to wear Saint Sharbel’s robe and asked for his intercession and the grace of healing. Saint Sharbel appeared to her in a dream, he told her, “Do not be afraid, I healed your daughter.” During the same night, my daughter Maria woke up to find Saint Sharbel’s blessed belt she had worn untied and placed by her side on the bed. She saw it wrapped like a round cookie. That’s when I was certain that Saint Sharbel healed me from disease. I was admitted to the hospital to have a biopsy. The results were evident that I was healed. According to the medical report, the doctor stated, “We do not know where the swelling came from and how it disappeared.”
I was healed through the intercession of Saint Sharbel. I came with my family to offer gratitude for the grace of my healing and to register the miracle on May 28, 2022.”
