Healing Testimony of Luayn Roger El Helou
The student Luayn Roger El Helou, born in 2009 in Ashrafieh, Lebanon, currently resides with her parents in Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon. Her mother shares Luayn's health condition:
"On September 22, 2022, due to a health issue, we consulted Dr. Mark Abboud. After examinations, it was revealed that my daughter is experiencing rapid heartbeats. An echocardiogram showed the presence of an 11mm hole connecting the right and left ventricles of the heart. Three doctors discussed her case, and all three confirmed the condition. We sent the images to Dr. Zakhia Saliba, an expert cardiologist at Hotel Dieu Hospital, through the phone, and he confirmed this diagnosis.
On the same night, on September 22, we visited Saint Sharbel in Annaya. There, my daughter Luayn received Saint Sharbel’s blessings in the form of oil, incense, soil from the tomb, and water. We sought the intercession of Saint Sharbel before our Lord Jesus Christ, asking for her healing. On September 23, we took her to Hotel Dieu for another echocardiogram by Dr. Zakhia Saliba to determine the course of action – whether to proceed with surgery or pursue an alternative treatment.
To our amazement, the echocardiogram showed the hole had completely disappeared. The doctor was astonished by the result. Yesterday, it was there, and today it's gone – healing has taken place. He called Dr. Abboud and informed him of the situation. Dr. Abboud said that Saint Sharbel healed her and was unaware that we had visited Saint Sharbel last night.
Therefore, we brought our daughter Luayn to visit Saint Sharbel, along with the medical reports, to thank him for his intercession. We officially recorded the miracle on October 2, 2022."
