Testimony of Laure Youssef Ibrahim
Mrs. Laure Youssef Ibrahim, born in 1974, in Bsarsar, Moushta Al Helo, in Syria, is married to Moussa Aziz Ghazoul from Bsarsar. They have three children and reside in Bsarsar. Laure recounts her health based on medical reports.
“I had suffered from back pain since 2010. Five years later, I had to visit my doctor. After tests, x-rays, and MRI, results showed that a spinal disc of the lower spine (number four) slipped 9mm from its place. The doctors agreed that the only way to recover was through surgery. I was not allowed to carry anything that had weight.
During this time, I heard of an orthopedic and neurosurgeon in Lebanon called Adel Al Rayis. He dealt with all spinal cases. In May 2022, I contacted him for an appointment.
Together with my children, I visited the shrine of the Virgin Mary on the Mount of Our Lady in Bsarsar, where I asked her for healing. There, in front of her altar, I felt that a thorn was plucked from my back near the spine where the pain was, and from that hour my pain subsided.
I then took the X-rays and medical reports to Doctor Adel in Lebanon. Before we visited the doctor, we visited Saint Sharbel in Annaya. We spent our night meditating and asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus Christ. We were blessed with his holy oil.
We were greeted by the assistant doctor at the clinic. He was surprised to see the results and said that I ought to have been in a wheelchair because my situation was difficult.
Dr. Adel asked me for a new x-ray. When I gave it to him, he examined it, then said to me, “When the hand of God intervenes, the hand of medicine stops. You have a miracle. In your case, an operation is required, and this operation was carried out by a spiritual hand. The discs are fixed on the bone.” I smiled and told him he was right. I told him that I spent the night at Saint Sharbel’s shrine. My healing was complete.
I came to show Saint Sharbel gratitude and registered the miracle on May 20, 2022.”
