Testimony of Johnny Antoun Abi Raad

Mr. Johnny Antoun Abi Raad was born in Bauchriye in 1995. He lives in Sin el Fil. He talks about his health supported by medical records.

I caught the Corona virus in February 2021. Due to this virus, I suffered from severe symptoms for a month. I was praying to Saint Sharbel to heal me from this illness.

After my recovery, I went to the monastery to thank him for interceding for me. I then took the vaccines. A month and a half later I suffered from fast heartbeats and cramps. These symptoms reoccurred at work.

Once, as I was roaming around with my friend Ruba, I felt fast heartbeats, fatigue, and I started to sweat excessively. Being a Red Cross first aider, she proposed I see a cardiologist.

I went to Dr. Mark Al Ashkar at Mount Lebanon Hospital. He performed an echocardiogram which showed that I had a missing valve in my heart since birth. The doctor insisted I undergo open-heart surgery to have an aortic valve implant. He referred me to the surgeon, Ziad Khabbaz who requested I redo the necessary tests.

After doing the tests, the doctor told me that I needed to have an implant of two valves to replace the missing one. I was pleased when the surgery date was set for the twenty-second of the month. My family and friends joined me in prayer when I began praying to Saint Sharbel on the way to the operation room. They lit prayer candles for my healing. The surgery was successful and fast. One valve was implanted instead of two in the place of the missing valve, as the other seemed fine unlike what it appeared like in the echo. I saw Saint Sharbel near me during the operation.

On September 2, 2021, I came to thank him and to register the miracle supported by medical reports.
