Testimony of John Gerges Gerges

Mr. John Gerges Gerges, born in Rmeish (South Lebanon), in 1973, is married to Mrs. Georgette Tanios with two kids. He is a retired sergeant in the Internal Security Forces and currently resides in Rmeish. He tells about his health based on medical records.

“On 5/12/2021, I felt a shortness in breath and high fever. After the doctor’s visit, I was diagnosed with Corona virus. Examinations and chest x-rays revealed that my lungs were functioning at 50%. I was admitted to the Public Hospital in Bint Jbeil, in the Novel coronavirus unit. I was in need of 23 liters of oxygen.

On the 21st of the month, my state worsened, and my lungs were functioning only at 5 %.

That is when I handed my case to the holy family, and the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception. I said to the Lord, ‘My life is in your hands.’

I grew numb and motionless. The oxygen mask fell off my face, so I called out to Saint Sharbel and blacked out. I, then, saw a light as bright as the moonlight, and I saw a tree on top of a small hill. Saint Sharbel was sitting there with a book in his hands.

I told him, “Saint Sharbel help me.” He folded the book. I felt peace when he stood by my side and placed the mask on my face. In his hand was a ball of light. He placed it on my stomach and started rubbing my stomach with his wrinkled and tired hand. I called him twice, however, he did not reply to me. I thanked him. He left quickly through the door of the balcony, as I fell into a deep slumber until the morning.

I woke up the next morning to find the IV serum needle was removed from my hand, it was bent, and the bed was wet with a mixture of blood and water. I was transferred to another room where they had performed the tests on me again. My healing was evident.

I registered the miracle in Annaya on the 11th of April 2022, along with medical records, thanking Saint Sharbel for his intercession."
