Healing Testimony of Helen Khalid Abdul-Masih
Mrs. Helen Khalid Abdul-Masih, born in 1989 in Baghdad, is married to Mr. Sharbel Joseph Al-Ghafari from Ain Al-Rummaneh, residing in Sabtieh, Beirut. She recounts her health condition, based on medical reports:
“I was suffering from uterine pain, and after examinations and imaging, especially a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), it was revealed that I had uterine cancer. Therefore, I sought treatment in Iraq because the cost of treatment in Lebanon is high, and there is also a shortage of medications. I entered the Santa Maria Medical Center, where the images showed the presence of several tumors along with a large cancerous tumor in the uterus.
I was afraid of the surgical procedure and its results, so I began to pray to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus, that the surgery would be successful and that he would heal me from my illness.
I underwent the surgical procedure, which was expected to take several hours but was completed in forty minutes. The operating surgeon was astonished to find that all the tumors that were visible in the MRI had disappeared. The surgery was successful, and the illness vanished through the intercession of Saint Sharbel.
For this reason, I came with my husband to visit him, express our gratitude, and record this miracle, along with the medical report, on the 15th of October 2022."
