Healing Testimony of George John Issa
Mr. George John Issa, born in Deir al Qamar, Lebanon, in 1974, is married to Mrs. Rola Joseph Fayyad from Akkar. He is the father of an only child, Roberto. Currently, he resides as an expatriate with his family in Indiana, USA. He recounts his health based on his medical records.
“I, the undersigned, George John Issa, an employee and resident with my family in Indiana, USA, can attest that a year ago, I began experiencing pain in my right leg, which eventually rendered me unable to walk or work.
I sought the expertise of an orthopedic specialist, who, in turn, ordered an X-ray. The results revealed widespread swelling in the space between the second and third vertebrae, with facet arthropathy, as well as hyperplasia of the ligamentous flavum. Additionally, there were instances of epidural lipoma with moderate to severe central canal stenosis.
In 2022, I visited Saint Sharbel Sanctuary. I attended the mass led by Father Lewis Mattar at the hermitage. Throughout the service, I kept Saint Sharbel's picture in my pocket. I began experiencing a sensation of pain and heat in my leg. I knelt in prayer and implored the saint to intercede on my behalf with the Lord Jesus Christ and to grant me the grace of a healing. I sensed the pain ceased completely. In that moment, I was complete healed.
Upon returningwas totally healed. When I returned to America, I visited the doctor for a thorough check-up. The medical examination revealed that I had recovered.
I came to offer thanks to Saint Sharbel and to register the miracle on September 16, 2022.
