Testimony Martha Ibrahim Gabriel
Mrs. Martha Ibrahim Gabriel, born in 1963, from Beit Shabeb is married to Mr. Habib Moussa. She has one child and lives in Baoushriyeh. She talks about her health issues supported by medical reports.
“On November 19, 2021, I fell to the ground. This caused a fracture in my left ankle. I was admitted to the hospital where the doctor decided to cover my foot in a cast for a month and a half. I would then have the cast removed, undergo surgery and have it placed in the cast again for another month and a half. This would be followed by sessions of physiotherapy. Because my son was returning from abroad, where he was continuing his studies, I postponed the surgery, so I could attend to my child’s needs.
I am devoted to Saint Sharbel and to some saints. I prayed for Saint Sharbel’s intercession and for the grace of healing my ankle.
I visited Saint Sharbel and swallowed a cotton dipped in Saint Sharbel’s oil and drank water after that so that I could swallow it and asked for his intercession with the Lord Jesus. Then I entered the hospital to remove the cast and undergo the surgery.
I had an x-ray which I took to my physician, Dr. George Al Aaraj. Having looked at the x-ray, he congratulated me by saying that there was no need for surgery nor physiotherapy sessions. He gave me the medical report which stated,
‘I report that Mrs. Marta Gabriel suffered a fracture in the left ankle, and her condition required surgery due to the spacing of the bone at the fracture, but she refused to do it at the time because of the arrival of her son from abroad. We, therefore, replaced the operation with a cast, knowing this treatment was useless and to no avail. After a month and a half, the cast was removed, and she was to have the surgery, but it appeared that the patient’s foot was healed with no effect of pain or limping.’
This was due to her belief in Saint Sharbel and her prayers for him.
I came to thank Saint Sharbel for the grace of healing and to register the miracle on February 21, 2022.
