Testimony from the mother of the child Leo Sharbel Shakkour
The child Leo Sharbel Shakkour, born on August 9, 2021, resides in Louaizeh. His mom reports his health state with medical reports attached.
"During my second month of pregnancy with my son, Leo Sharbel, I had a blood test to check the health state of the fetus. The results came in positive and the doctor told me that the child has abnormalities.
The doctors did another examination, amniocentesis, taking a sample of amniotic fluid from the placenta. The result also came out positive. I then started praying to Saint Sharbel and asked for his intercession with the Lord Jesus to help bring the child salvation and grant him health.
I then visited the doctor, requesting a third test. He replied that it was to no avail since the first two were enough and 99% accurate.
I insisted on doing a third examination as there was a driving force inside of me telling me not to yield to the previous results. He set a date for the new examination. Upon completing the test, he told me not to have high hopes and that ‘your child will be born with an abnormality.” He stated that the possibility of a negative result is 1 in 30,000.
I exclaimed that he might be that one in 30,000. I did the test on February 22, 2021. The following day, the doctor called me to inform me that the result was negative and that it was the first time in his 40 years of being in his field that this had ever happened.
Sharbel was born as a normal child in good health. I came all the way from Germany to Annaya to offer Saint Sharbel gratitude for the grace of the miracle. This miracle was registered on October 18, 2021."
