Testimony from Angela Zurlini on Her Daughter’s Struggle With Infertility and Eventual Conception
"I wanted to let you know of a great joy that my daughter and my family have experienced. This happened because a dear friend of our family who is very devoted to Saint Sharbel introduced us to him.
My daughter is 43, has polyps and fibroids in the uterus, cists in the ovaries, and adenomas in the pituitary gland. The doctor told her as well that her levels were very low, and it was impossible for her to have a child. She and her husband were ready to try to adopt a child. By miracle, at this point, we received the blessed oil and literature from the Family of Saint Sharbel. Our dear friend Guillermo also gave us water that he boiled with the oak leaves a friend of his sent him from a tree of the Monastery in Lebanon. The Sisters at the Grotto of The Blessed Virgin Mary of Lourdes in Maryland and many relatives and friends of mine in Italy [were praying for her]. My daughter started using the water and the holy oil and praying as well to St. Sharbel for a miracle, if it was God’s will.
A couple of weeks before my daughter would leave to try to adopt, we found out that she was 7 weeks pregnant. She and my family truly know that it was the intercession of St. Sharbel––an answer to everybody’s and my daughter’s prayers to him.
We are so grateful and thankful because we recently had a healthy baby granddaughter. Delivery had some complications; the baby had some issues with low glucose, and we were told that she might have been deaf. Yet, thanks be to God, Saint Sharbel’s intercession, and all the prayers, she is okay. We are very, very grateful, and would like to tell our testimony."
