Our Humanitarian Efforts Continue in Lebanon

2/26/2025

Since concluding our Help Beirut Heal campaign, the Family of Saint Sharbel has continued its humanitarian efforts in Lebanon on a case-by-case basis.  When we receive donations flagged to help individuals in Lebanon, we send the funds to the Family of Saint Sharbel (Aylet Mar Charbel) in Lebanon where they are distributed to aid with any needs we can afford to meet from food to medicine, clothing, and more.

The Family of Saint Sharbel has also been supporting Rayon D'Art (
Rayon DArt (@rayondart_ayle) • Instagram photos and videos), an initiative that has helped various people in Lebanon sustain themselves through creating and selling handmade religious art, and we recently received a grant to further support this work!

Tragically, people in Lebanon are still suffering from the August 4, 2020 explosion at the Port of Beirut, which left destruction over a radius of more than 3 miles and around 300,000 people without housing. According to a survey published recently by UNICEF, a staggering 98 percent of families are still in need. The Family of Saint Sharbel in Lebanon continues to help, providing food parcels to around 200 families per month.
