Healing Testimony of Rita Michel Hanna
Rita Michel Hanna Ghosn, born in 1993 in Bikfaya, is an expat living in America. Her mother states her daughter’s health case supported by medical records
“My daughter, Rita, was born healthy on March 30, 1993. Three months later, I felt as if there was something hurting her, for she was crying constantly. I took her to the doctor for a check-up. After examining her, he said that she was in good health. She, however, would not stop crying.
I started taking her from one doctor to the next. Things were becoming worse. After struggling for three months, I took her to Dr. Emil Ghossoub’s Clinic. The blood test results showed that she suffered from Juvenile idiopathic arthritis. At this point, Dr. Ghossoub advised me to consult Dr. George Saliba
Dr. Saliba reviewed the test results and told me that unfortunately there was no cure. He said I should get used to it. My daughter's case, however, was getting worse.
On the feast day of Saint Sharbel, my daughter seemed to be in a coma from the pain. We visited the tomb of Saint Sharbel and clothed her in a garb like his. I anointed her with holy oil. I stopped giving her medicine and asked Saint Sharbel to intercede for my daughter with the Lord Jesus Christ and heal her.
A month after our visit to Saint Sharbel, I took my daughter to Dr. Saliba who requested new tests. The results showed that she was cured of her illness. He did not believe it and asked for another set of tests. The new results showed that she was completely cured. The doctor was amazed by the results.
I took the results to Dr. Emil Ghoussoub who was also surprised by the results. He asked me what had happened. I told him about our visit to Saint Sharbel and how he interceded with the Lord Jesus Christ and healed my daughter of her illness.
Since I live in USA, and this is my first visit to Lebanon and to Saint Sharbel in 28 years, I came to express my gratitude for the grace of the miracle. I registered this miracle on July 23, 2021, supported by medical reports”.
