Healing Testimony for the Child Sami Sam Fahd
The child Sami Sam Fahd, born on October 25, 2019, in Baqaata Ashqout, resides in Baqaata Ashqout. His father talks about Sami’s health supported by medical records.
“I am Sam Fahd, the father of Sami. Sami was born with cirrhosis of the liver and underwent surgery at Hotel Dieu Hospital when he was 2 months old. The doctors thought that the boy would not live up to 8 months.
Sami was transferred to Al Rassoul Al-Aazam Hospital for a liver transplant. We were advised to transfer him to Iran as they specialize in liver transplants, but unfortunately, we were not able to find a liver donor. Sami’s state was worsening.
We prayed to Saint Sharbel, and rubbed him with his holy oil. We asked him for his intercession with the Lord Jesus, for the grace of his recovery.
During this time, family friends in Brazil found out through social media and through the campaign we conducted that we were looking for a liver donor. Since we were Brazilian citizens with valid papers, we flew him to Brazil where he was admitted to hospital. After undergoing many tests, his mother appeared to be able to donate her liver.
On the 9 of November 2020, he had the surgery and it was 99 % successful. Three months after the surgery, we returned to Lebanon. Sami is now in good health.
We came to visit Saint Sharbel on October 9, who accompanied our son through all his difficult situations. We are certain that without Saint Sharbel’s intervention, Sami would not have survived. We registered the miracle supported by medical records, on the 44th anniversary of his proclamation as saint.
