Healing Testimony for the Child Miriam Walid Obeid
Child Miriam Walid Obeid, born in 2011 in Mishmish Akkar, Lebanon, a Muslim Sunni, residing in Dar Baashtar Al Koura. As her mother recounts about her daughter's health condition, accompanied by medical reports:
"While I was bathing my daughter, I felt something abnormal in her abdomen, so I took her to Rizk Hospital in Beirut. After examinations and imaging, it was found that my daughter was suffering from ovarian cancer, and a surgery was scheduled to remove the ovary by Dr. George Beirouti.”
At that time, medical secretary Carol Abes, who felt sympathy for Miriam who would be deprived of having children, gave her mother a bottle containing Saint Sharbel's oil and a bag containing Saint Sharbel's incense. She asked her to anoint Miriam's abdomen with the oil, give her a grain of incense, and Carol prayed to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus Christ to heal Miriam. Saint Sharbel intervened and facilitated the surgery; instead of taking 4 hours, it ended in half an hour. Before Miriam left the hospital, an imaging showed that the ovary had reappeared in her abdomen.
