Healing Testimony for Joven Jano Badran

"I, Mrs. Michèle Youssef El Hakeim, wife of Jano Elias Badran and mother of the child Joven, who is 13 years old, hereby state that my son suffered from severe rectal bleeding along with excruciating stomach pains. We admitted him to Our Lady of Lebanon Hospital in Jounieh, where after examinations and endoscopy, it was found that he had chronic inflammation in the colon, extending over forty centimeters. He was prescribed medication before undergoing surgery to remove the inflamed part of his colon. Upon leaving the hospital, we visited the tomb of Saint Sharbel in Annaya, where I dressed him in Saint Sharbel's garment, fed him a grain of soil from his grave, and asked Saint Sharbel to intercede for my son before the Lord Jesus Christ to heal him from his illness, then we started giving him the medication. After Epiphany, we visited the home of Mrs. Nohad El Shamy with the family, where she prayed for my son, and we knelt before a picture of Saint Sharbel, and we began to pray. Saint Sharbel appeared to us holding a red relic in his hand and placed his hand on my son's shoulder and mine, but we did not see the features of his face because it was radiating with lights. Upon returning home, I boiled oak leaves and gave the water to my son Joven to drink, then burned the oak leaves and fumigated the house with them. Then my son asked me to go to his room to sleep. From that night, the bleeding stopped, and the excruciating pains disappeared. After two weeks, on February 24, 2023, I admitted him to the hospital and informed the doctor of what happened to my son. He performed an endoscopy, which revealed his recovery. The colon became new, and his healing was complete, with the inflammation completely disappearing. Then the doctor handed me the medical report, and I came to visit Saint Sharbel with Joven and the family, thanked Saint Sharbel, and recorded the miracle on March 6, 2023.
