Healing Testimony for Child Sharbel Hani Qurra
Child Sharbel Hani Qurra, whose mother's name is Tawaa, is of Syriac Orthodox sect, originally from Homs, and was born in Austria in 2021. They reside in the city of Linz, Austria. Tawaa, his mother, describes her son's health condition, accompanied by medical reports:
"I am Tawaa Yousef Wardah from Homs, married to Hani Qurra, and we live in the city of Linz, Austria. On February 29, 2021, I was pregnant on the last day of the seventh month, and the delivery came, and I was transferred to the hospital. However, due to a medical error, they did not deliver the baby, so they sent me back home. The next day, I went to the doctor for a routine check-up because I entered the eighth month. The examination revealed that the fetus was in a critical condition due to the depletion of amniotic fluid, which led to incomplete brain and lung development. I was immediately transferred to the hospital on April 1, 2021, and after the tests, I was informed that the fetus was in a very critical condition, with a loss rate exceeding ninety percent, and there was also a fifty percent risk to my life. The doctors presented me with two options: either to abort the fetus immediately or to sign a waiver of responsibility for them to attempt to save him, but with a very slim chance of success. I chose the latter option. A week passed without any improvement, and on the 15th of the month, after the examination, they informed me that there was no hope and that the fetus would die. At that moment, I returned to my room, prayed, and asked Saint Sharbel to give me a sign and help me, either by taking my son or taking me. After my prayer, they moved me to the delivery room, and the tests showed that the fetus's brain and lungs had developed fully, and his condition improved suddenly. They then told me that this was something impossible, akin to a miracle, and immediately I knew that my prayer to Saint Sharbel and his intervention had saved the fetus. On April 23, Sharbel was born in good health and immediately transferred to the incubator, where his condition worsened. I asked Saint Sharbel for the grace of his healing, and a grain of incense appeared on his body, and after a week, my son was discharged from the hospital, and his story spread throughout the hospital. The Lord Jesus answered the request of Saint Sharbel, so we named him Sharbel. I brought my son Sharbel from Austria to thank Saint Sharbel and recorded the miracle on January 30, 2023."
