Raymond Nader’s Talk at St. Anthony Maronite Church, Lawrence, MA: July 18, 2024

On Thursday, July 18th, 2024, during the monthly gathering of the Lawrence Group of the Family of Saint Sharbel at St. Anthony Maronite Church in Lawrence, MA, the community also celebrated the feast of Saint Sharbel.

The celebration began at 6:30 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, followed by the Divine Liturgy, led by Fr. Nimatullah Al-AAnaysi and Fr. Elie Mikhael.

Members of the Family of Saint Sharbel in the United States, including Mr. Raymond Nader, President of the Family of Saint Sharbel, as well as community members, participated in the celebration. Click HERE to watch the celebration live streaming on the parish’s Facebook page.

After the Divine Liturgy, Mr. Nader gave a spiritual talk, which was followed by a dinner. These events were organized by the Lawrence Group of the Family of Saint Sharbel.

Mr. Nader started his talk reflecting on the profound changes and challenges facing the world today. Drawing from his experiences and observations, he outlined a vision for rekindling faith, restoring values, and strengthening the community through active engagement with the church.

Central to Mr. Nader’s message was the ongoing battle between good and evil. He highlighted the role of the Holy Spirit and the Church in this struggle and underscored the importance of the Eucharist, repentance, and humility as pathways to achieving eternal life and sanctification.

​A significant portion of Mr. Nader’s talk was dedicated to Saint Sharbel, whose miracles and guidance he sees as crucial in leading people back to the Church. He described Saint Sharbel as a symbol of hope and a catalyst for change. Mr. Nader concluded by inviting the audience to join prayer groups and the Family of Saint Sharbel, urging individuals to reconnect with their faith and take an active role in transforming their communities.
