Illustrated Book
The illustrated book is expected to be around 65 letter-size pages in full color (sample above). The final texts will be in English (the original texts will be prepared in Arabic then translated and printed in English). The estimated time for the completion of the project is 5 to 6 months.
The total expected budget, in addition to volunteer work, based on 5,000 copies for the first batch:
The Family needs the above amount (over the next 4 months) to finalize the project and make the book available for sale worldwide, in bookstores, and online. Later on, all the profits that will be collected from selling the copies will be used to cover some of the activities of The Family of Saint Sharbel. |

Saint Sharbel is a light that leads people to Christ. In order to bring this light to every home and family, and to spread the spirituality of Saint Sharbel and the Maronite church, The Family is working to publish this illustrated storybook in Arabic and English with the purpose of:
- Introducing the life of Saint Sharbel to the youth.
- Presenting the traits of Maronite spirituality reflected in Saint Sharbel’s model.
- Introducing the Lebanese culture and traditions during the saint's life, and addressing the most important historical events in the history of Lebanon.
