Healing Testimony of Yola Faraj Kalakesh
Mrs. Yola Faraj Kalakesh, born in 1970 in Rmeish, Lebanon, is married to Sharbel Assaf and is a mother of four. She resides in Rmeish.
Here is her account of her health condition, which her medical reports support:
"I experienced a health crisis and was admitted to Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, Beirut, where I was treated by Dr. Hambik Khoury. After undergoing various tests and imaging scans, I was diagnosed with cancer in the lymph nodes and trachea. I was prescribed hormonal therapy, specifically Zometa along with Femara tablets.
During this time, a young man from my village, Rmeish, named Jean Gerges, who had been healed from COVID-19 through Saint Sharbel’s intercession, was praying on his knees when Saint Sharbel appeared to him. The saint told him, 'I want to heal another person from Rmeish named Yola.' Jean saw my image before him, and then the vision disappeared.
Jean Gerges then brought incense, Saint Sharbel’s oil, a candle, and a belt from the saint’s shrine. I anointed my body with the oil, drank a small amount mixed with a grain of incense, and lit Saint Sharbel’s candle. I immediately felt an improvement.
Later, a PET scan was conducted, and the results confirmed my complete healing—the cancer had disappeared from my entire body.
On October 1, 2023, I came with my family to thank Saint Sharbel and officially recorded the miracle.
