Healing Testimony of Sharbel Gabriel Saba
Young man Sharbel Gabriel Saba, born in Erdeh, Lebanon, in 1996. He is a Lebanese expatriate in Australia and resides in Sydney. He completed his university studies in biology and works as a freelancer.
Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports support:
“In February 2023, I felt a sharp pain in my chest that caused me to fall to the ground. This would happen almost three times a week. Pimples broke out all over my body, and I lost 15 kg.
I was admitted to Concord Hospital in Sydney, and after the tests it was found that my immunity was low and viruses were ravaging my body. I was prescribed medication, but I did not benefit from it. The sharp pain in my chest continued to make me fall to the ground, and my immune system was unable to fight the viruses affecting me.
I visited Saint Sharbel in Annaya and asked for his intercession before the Lord Jesus Christ. Likewise, my family, who live in Erdeh, also went on foot to visit Saint Sharbel in Khaldieh, asking Saint Sharbel to intercede for me and heal me.
I returned to Sydney, but my health condition worsened, and the inflammation in the pimples that had broken out on my body increased. The doctors asked that I be admitted to the hospital to undergo precise tests.
Before entering the hospital, I participated in the procession welcoming the relic of Saint Sharbel sent from Annaya to his monastery in Australia, and I asked him for his intercession and the grace of healing.
That night, Saint Sharbel appeared to me in a dream and said: ‘When you wake up, reassure your family that you are healed and that nothing is wrong with you.’ He handed me a rosary with an unusually large cross, and then disappeared.
I woke up, and the sharp pain had disappeared from my chest, and the pimples had also disappeared from my body.
I entered the hospital with full faith that I had been healed through the intercession of Saint Sharbel. The tests were performed, and my healing was confirmed.
That is why I came from Australia to Annaya to thank Saint Sharbel, and I registered the miracle on September 11, 2024.”
