Healing Testimony of Saba Youssef Nohra
Mr. Saba Youssef Nohra, born in 1938 in Aley, Lebanon, is married to Sylvie Nakhle Nohra, father of two, a retired schoolteacher residing in Adonis. Here is his account of her health condition, which his medical reports support:
"Due to a serious kidney problem, I was admitted to Notre Dame du Liban Hospital on October 30, 2023. After the tests ordered by Dr. Tanios Nabih Atik, it was revealed that my kidney had completely stopped functioning. My urine flow had ceased, creatinine levels had reached 804, and protein levels were extremely high. I was placed in intensive care for five days and underwent three dialysis sessions. Despite this, my condition remained unchanged.
During my stay, I kept a picture of Saint Sharbel under my pillow, wore his belt, anointed my forehead with his oil, and prayed constantly, asking for his intercession before our Lord Jesus Christ and the grace of healing.
When I was moved from the ICU, my family retrieved the picture of Saint Sharbel and placed it again under my pillow.
At 1:30 a.m., while I was asleep with my head facing the window, I felt four fingers gently turn me onto my back. I turned again toward the window, but then Saint Sharbel turned me back with his four fingers, and I can still feel the softness and touch of his hand to this day.
Then he placed a pill in my mouth, and I immediately felt a burning sensation rising from my lower limbs—especially my toes. Instantly, I urinated a large amount, and the retained fluids in my body were released.
I awoke and asked the nurse who had given me the medication during the night. She checked with the medical team, and everyone confirmed that no one had administered anything.
I was completely healed and discharged from the hospital. I went straight to visit Saint Sharbel’s shrine to thank him and officially recorded the miracle on November 18, 2023."
