Healing Testimony of Rami Mamoun Al-Zweeny
Young man Rami Mamoun Al-Zweeny, born in Niha, Chouf, Lebanon, in 2005 and residing there, belongs to the Druze faith. Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports support:
"On July 18, 2023, at 1:30 a.m., I was involved in a car accident and admitted to Ain Wazein Hospital. Tests and scans revealed my right lung was filled with blood due to fractured ribs. While I was in a coma, I was placed on a ventilator to drain the blood from my lung."
Rami's condition was critical, so his family prayed for Saint Sharbel's intercession. Rami sensed the presence of people around him, who weren't doctors or nurses, placing tubes and IV bags on his chest. Saint Sharbel told him they would perform a procedure to remove the blood from his lung with minimal pain. Then Rami woke up and told his parents what happened, saying, “Remove the tubes; I want to breathe.” He took a deep breath, slept without a ventilator, and felt no chest pain for the first time since the accident. The doctors were astonished by his recovery, as tests showed his lung was functioning normally.
The family visited Saint Sharbel's tomb to offer thanks, accompanied by the full medical report, and registered the miracle on August 19, 2023.
