Healing Testimony of Nicolas Saoud Nicolas
Mr. Nicolas Saoud Nicolas, born in 1954 in the town of Niha, Batroun, Lebanon, is married to Mrs. Noha Maarouf Khoury and is the father of four children. He is currently living as an expatriate in Australia. His son George recounts his father's health condition, as supported by medical reports:
"I would like to report that my father, Nicolas, experienced a severe health issue and was admitted to Sydney Hospital, where he underwent necessary tests and scans. It was revealed that he had bladder cancer. He began chemotherapy treatment in 2019, and a surgery was scheduled for February 24, 2023, to remove his bladder. My father was fearful of the surgery, so he visited Saint Sharbel's Monastery in Australia. However, due to his poor health, he couldn't enter the church. Instead, he stood at the entrance and began praying, asking Saint Sharbel to intercede for him before the Lord Jesus Christ for healing. While deep in prayer, Saint Sharbel appeared behind him, placing his hands into my father’s abdomen, grabbing the bladder, twisting it three times, and then removing his hands before disappearing. My father immediately felt relief, and his pain vanished.
He returned to the hospital and told his doctor, 'I have been healed of my illness through Saint Sharbel’s intercession.' The doctor insisted on proceeding with the surgery, warning him that without it, he would have only three to six months to live. My father underwent the surgery, and after further testing, the biopsy showed that the bladder was completely healthy and free of any cancer, contrary to the initial biopsy results. The doctors were astonished by this outcome.
