Healing Testimony of Nadia Nasan Hanna Matar
Mrs. Nadia Nasan Hanna Matar, widow of the late Paul Matar and mother of four children, was born in Egypt in 1953, belongs to the Coptic denomination, works in Lebanon, and resides in Sarba, Jounieh. Here is her account of her health condition, which her medical reports support:
"I underwent a heart valve transplant operation in 2009, and thanks to my prayers to Saint Sharbel, the operation was successful. However, by the end of February 2023, my lungs and body began to fill with fluid. I was admitted to Hotel Dieu Hospital, where Dr. Victor Jabara took charge of my treatment. He informed me that I needed to secure $1,500 to undergo open-heart surgery. I became very fearful for my health and started praying earnestly to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus Christ, for healing, and to look after my situation. Saint Sharbel appeared to me, answered my prayers, and healed me.
When the tests and imaging were conducted, Dr. Jabara was astonished by the results—my heart was healthy, my condition was good, and there was no longer a need for the surgery. My healing was complete through the intercession of Saint Sharbel.
