Healing Testimony of Nader Ahmad Al-Sawwaf Zantout
Mr. Nader Ahmad Al-Sawwaf Zantout, born in 1953 in Saida, Lebanon, is married to Mrs. Maysoun and belongs to the honorable Sunni sect. He is the father of two and a businessman residing in Ashrafieh, Beirut.
Here is his account of her health condition, which his medical reports support:
"I have long been devoted to Saint Sharbel, frequently visiting him and seeking his intercession. His prayers were the secret behind my success in life and business.
On February 4, 2020, while visiting him and passing by Saint Sharbel's Oasis, I was struck by a car whose driver failed to see me. The vehicle ran over my body twice, crushing my head, cheek, and right eye (which came out of its socket), fracturing the right side of my ribs, and severely injuring my entire body. I lost consciousness instantly.
I was taken by the Red Cross to Notre Dame des Secours University Hospital in Jbeil. After three days, with no hope of survival and having received all possible tests and treatments, I was transferred unconscious to CMC Hospital in Beirut, where I remained in a coma for 45 days. Doctors predicted I would suffer permanent paralysis and lose sight in my right eye if I survived.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, I was transferred home with all necessary medical equipment, still unconscious.
From the time of the accident, the monks of Saint Maron Monastery in Annaya, along with my family and loved ones, began praying earnestly to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession to heal me and restore me to health, family, and work.
While at home, I regained consciousness, and all my injuries and fractures healed completely. Even my right eye returned to normal, despite doctors having no hope. My right leg and the rest of my body, which were expected to be paralyzed, were also fully restored through Saint Sharbel’s intercession.
I gathered all the medical reports and came to thank Saint Sharbel, recording the miracle on November 9, 2023, saying to him: “You have all my thanks.”
