Healing Testimony of Marie Gerges Abi Khalil
Mrs. Marie Gerges Abi Khalil, born in Naameh, Lebanon, 1962, married to Mr. Milad George Abi Khalil, is a nurse, mother of four, and resides in Sabtiyeh, Beirut.
As she recounts her health condition, supported by the attached medical reports:
"On December 4, 2023, I felt severe stomach pain and was admitted to the ER at Saint Joseph Hospital, Dora, Beirut, under the care of Dr. Roland Daher. After a CT scan, endoscopy, and tests, it was confirmed that I was suffering from Crohn’s disease, and surgery was scheduled for the following morning to remove it.
Fearful of the operation, I was being prepared by the nurses when I prayed to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession before the Lord Jesus Christ, to spare me the surgery and grant me healing.
That night, Saint Sharbel appeared to me in a dream and said: ‘Go home, you do not need surgery—you are healed from your illness.’
In the morning, I asked the nurse to help me and accompany me to the bathroom, where I found my stomach functioning normally and without any pain. I told her: ‘Saint Sharbel has healed me—I don’t need the surgery.’
At 10 a.m., the doctor arrived and, at the nurse’s request, examined me before surgery. He ordered another CT scan, which confirmed that I was completely healed.
I was discharged from the hospital and came to thank Saint Sharbel, officially recording the miracle on December 31, 2023, with the full medical report attached."
