Healing Testimony of Journalist Joseph Samaan
Journalist Joseph Samaan Samaan, born in Rmeil, Beirut, in 1963, currently resides in Ajaltoun and is originally from Al-Kfour, Nabatieh District, Lebanon South.
Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports support:
“I discovered by chance that I was suffering from colon cancer when I was visiting the surgeon Dr. Youssef Andraous at Abou Jaoude Hospital. After medical examinations, five polyps were found, and five biopsies were taken. The results, dated February 29, 2024, confirmed that one of them was cancerous. At that point, I began drinking the oil of Saint Sharbel.
I was referred to a specialist physician at Notre Dame des Secours University Hospital in Jbeil, where a full-body CT scan was performed. It showed the presence of cancer, but it had not spread and was confined to one location.
I then visited Saint Sharbel, prayed before his tomb, and asked for his intercession before the Lord Jesus Christ to heal me from my illness and to have mercy on me. I also received a blessing from Saint Sharbel, which was given to me by the abbot of the monastery, and I swallowed it.
I returned to Abou Jaoude Hospital, where I underwent an MRI on March 9, 2024. The results showed the disappearance of the disease. Seventeen biopsies were taken from the colon and examined, and the results confirmed my complete healing from the illness, with no need for chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Therefore, I came on a thanksgiving visit to Saint Sharbel on June 17, 2024, accompanied by the complete medical report, and the miracle was officially recorded.
This is Saint Sharbel, the saint of saints — humble, yet capable of opening the gates of heaven to all who seek help. He is God’s story on earth, and this story will never fade.”
