Healing Testimony of Jean George Beshara
Mr. Jean George Beshara, born in Hazmieh, Lebanon, in 1960, is married to Marlene Shahid Fares from Kobayat and is the father of three children. He resides in Dekwaneh and is a retired military serviceman.
Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports support:
“I began suffering from pain in my kidney and was admitted to Geitawi Hospital on April 22, 2021. My treatment was overseen by Dr. Antoine Najem. After the necessary examinations and imaging, it was determined that I had a cancerous cyst measuring three and a half centimeters attached to the kidney. I was advised to undergo urgent surgery to remove the cyst before the disease spread throughout my body.
I asked the doctor to postpone the surgery for one month, and he agreed. I was discharged from the hospital and went to the shrine of Saint Sharbel in Annaya, where I knelt before his tomb and prayed with deep faith and insistence, asking for his intercession before the Lord Jesus Christ to heal me of my illness. I took oil and soil from his tomb and began to take the blessing of Saint Sharbel daily.
After one month had passed, I returned to my doctor, who repeated the medical examinations, especially the MRI scan. The results showed that the cyst had disappeared. He asked me to return after six months, and the results were the same. Then he embraced me and asked me to pray for him and for his son, who is also a doctor.
My healing was accomplished, so I came to thank Saint Sharbel, attaching the complete medical report, and recorded the miracle on June 9, 2024. Thank you, Saint Sharbel, heavenly physician.”
