Healing Testimony of Janet Al-Banna
Mrs. Janet Wannis Gheith Al-Banna, born in Beirut, is married to Nicolas Elias Al-Banna and is the mother of four children. She resides in Ashrafieh.
Here is her account of her health condition, which her medical reports support:
"In 2019, I began experiencing severe pain in my back and abdomen. I consulted Dr. Georges Wehbe, who ordered several tests and a biopsy, which confirmed that I had cervical cancer.
I was admitted to Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, where I underwent chemotherapy under Dr. Georges Chahine, followed by radiation therapy with Dr. Tony Fleifel, and gynecological care under Dr. David Atallah, which included multiple internal radiation sessions.
Every six months, I was required to undergo a biopsy, MRI, CT scan, and an HPV test, in addition to an annual PET scan.
On January 17, tests revealed that the cancer was still present. Throughout this ordeal, I prayed fervently to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus to heal me.
On March 22, 2023, Saint Sharbel appeared to me in a dream, performed a surgery to remove the cancer, and anesthetized me during the dream.
The following day, I underwent a full set of medical tests, which showed that I was healed and the cancer had disappeared.
I repeated the tests three times, with the last one on October 13, and each time the results confirmed my complete healing through Saint Sharbel’s intercession.
Thus, I came to visit him, thank him for the grace of healing, and officially recorded the miracle on November 1, 2023."
