Healing Testimony of Ibrahim Elias Al-Azwat
The young man Ibrahim Elias Al-Azwat, born in 1991 in Darb El-Sim, South Lebanon, resides in Ain El-Remmaneh. He is an athlete. As he recounts his health condition, accompanied by medical reports:
"I am Ibrahim Elias Al-Azwat. On March 13, 2023, while I was riding my bike, a speeding car hit me, causing me to lose consciousness. I woke up in Mount Lebanon Hospital, where Dr. Haikal and Dr. Marwan Haddad took care of me. I was in a coma for three hours, and the results of the scans and tests showed that I had a fractured pelvis, a broken right thigh, a fracture in the lower part of my left leg, and severe head injuries. The necessary surgeries were performed on me, and I was discharged from the hospital to my home on March 16, 2023. I was in a very poor condition; both of my legs and my hip were in casts. I needed months to be able to walk.
Upon reaching home, I began praying to Saint Sharbel, asking him to intercede for me with the Lord Jesus Christ to heal me and relieve my pain. I started to lament to Saint Sharbel because I had visited him the day before the accident, and asked him to appear to me and heal me. Saint Sharbel appeared to my mother, Jean Dark Al-Ghafari, saying to her: 'I will bring oil for your son. Anoint his legs.' My mother woke up on Sunday morning and began to tell me. Suddenly, I felt as if someone was holding me, I stood up on my legs, removed the cast, and started walking as if I had never been in a car accident.
I came to the Monastery of Saint Maron in Annaya to thank Saint Sharbel for his intercession for me and recorded the miracle on April 30, 2023. 'Thank you, Saint Sharbel.'"
