Healing Testimony of Hoda Antoine Chalhoub
Mrs. Hoda Antoine Chalhoub, born in 1969 in Rmeil, Beirut, Lebanon, is married to Mr. Fawzi Baaino from Kfardebian, is the mother of two children, and resides in Kfardebian.
Here is her account of her health condition, which her medical reports support:
"I experienced a health crisis and was admitted to the Government Hospital in Ftouh Keserwan. After examinations and imaging, it was found that a large amount of fluid had accumulated in my lungs, and the fluid was approaching the heart.
Dr. Anissa Wakid ordered a CT scan, which revealed the presence of lung cancer. A biopsy was scheduled to confirm the type and stage of the disease.
Before the procedure, I visited Saint Sharbel and asked him, with deep faith, to intercede for me before our Lord Jesus Christ and grant me healing. I took a blessing from his tomb, drank his oil and relic, and that night, I smelled the scent of incense filling the room.
After this, the biopsy was performed, and the results showed that the cancer had disappeared from my lung, contradicting all prior tests and scans that had confirmed the illness.
Therefore, I went with my family to Saint Sharbel’s shrine to thank him for the grace of my healing, and I officially recorded the miracle, along with the full medical report, on December 5, 2023, the anniversary of his beatification.”
