Healing Testimony of Ghada Samir Habib
Mrs. Ghada Samir Habib, born in Ashrafieh–Rmeil, Lebanon, in 1972, is the wife of George Emile Maatouk from Saida, the mother of three children, and resides in Dora, Beirut.
Here is her account of her health condition, which her medical reports support:
“In June 2023, I suffered from nasal blockage, and my eye began to protrude from its socket. I visited Dr. Bassam Romanos, who performed an endoscopy of my nose and took a biopsy. Fifteen days later, the results showed that I had cancer in my nose and eye, extending into my forehead and approaching the brain.
He referred me to the American University Hospital, where Dr. Zeina Korban examined me and, along with her colleagues, decided that my affected eye needed to be surgically removed. I refused the operation, left the hospital, and went to visit Saint Sharbel, the physician of heaven. I ate soil from his tomb, anointed my eye with his oil, knelt before his grave, prayed, and asked for his intercession before the Lord Jesus Christ to heal me.
I was later admitted to Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, Beirut, where Dr. Walid Bou Hamad, Dr. Fadi Nasr, and Dr. Azouri took care of me. They treated me with radiation therapy followed by chemotherapy, during which I suffered great pain. While undergoing treatment, I received blessings from Saint Sharbel, which I used with full faith that he would heal me.
After completing my treatment and rehabilitation period, I was discharged from the hospital to the astonishment of the doctors of my recovery— I was completely healed of cancer through the intercession of Saint Sharbel.
Therefore, I came with my family to thank him and recorded the miracle, attaching the full medical report, on March 16, 2024.”
