Healing Testimony of Fadia Jamil Shreiki
Healing of Fadia Jamil Shreiki – Greek Orthodox from Matn Arnouk, Tartous, Syria, born in 1953.
I, Fadia Shreiki, wife of Ramez Jabbour, after placing my hand on the Holy Gospel and in the presence of Monsignor Antoine Deeb, hereby declare the following:
As is my habit, I went for my daily walk near my home on the seafront in Latakia. When I returned home, I don’t know what happened to me. My son Mehran arrived and found me lying on the floor, bleeding from my ear and nose.
The paramedics came and transferred me to Al-Sayyida Hospital, where I remained in a coma for three months due to a brain hemorrhage and severe bleeding.
While in the ICU, Saint Sharbel appeared to me and, in a vision, took me to the hermitage in Annaya. I saw his bed, his room door, and the window. I asked him, "Why, Saint Sharbel, do you always keep your eyes closed?" He replied, "It is true that my eyes are closed, but from my deep love for you; the one who loves closes his eyes in delight."
He then blessed me, placed his hand on my head, prayed in what I believe was Syriac, and disappeared. At that moment, I woke up, called the nurses, doctors, and my children—astonishing everyone. I told them, "Saint Sharbel healed me."
Thanks be to Saint Sharbel.
The miracle was officially recorded on December 21, 2023.
