Healing Testimony of Eid Khalil Youssef
Mr. Eid Khalil Youssef, born in Jowar El Houz in 1948, is married to Mrs. Aurour Khalil Karam from Zgharta and is the father of six children. He is an expatriate living in Sydney, Australia, working in construction. He shares his health condition along with the medical report:
"I was diagnosed with bladder cancer, and it was surgically removed several years ago. On March 26, 2023, I was admitted to Westmead Hospital due to a large tumor in my kidneys accompanied by infections, which caused severe blockage in my urinary tract, putting me in grave danger. The doctors decided to perform surgery on my kidney and to open the urinary tract by placing a catheter on March 30, 2023.
While I was in the hospital, my daughter Patricia came to tell me about a dream she had on March 28, two days before the surgery. She saw Saint Sharbel in her dream, and he said to her, 'Don’t be afraid, my daughter, no one will touch your father.' She added, 'Before I saw Saint Sharbel, I saw a woman holding a dagger, about to hurt my father.'
The time for the surgery came, and they took me to the operating room, where I was anesthetized. They took all the images and measurements because the surgery was difficult. To the surgeon's surprise, the tumor had disappeared from the kidney, and there was no longer any blockage in the urinary tract—the healing had taken place. The surgeon canceled the surgery and was astonished by the healing. He told my children, 'Continue what you were doing because your prayers have been answered, and thank God he is safe.'
Therefore, we came from Australia to Annaya to thank Saint Sharbel at his shrine and hermitage, and we registered the miracle on July 7, 2023, accompanied by the medical report."
