Healing Testimony of Edward Rakan AlJawabra
Mr. Edward Rakan AlJawabra, born in Achrafieh, Beirut, in 1980, from the Greek Orthodox community, is married to Mrs. Jean-Marie Mosallam from Al-Bireh, Chouf, and is the father of two children. He resides in Jdeideh, Beirut, and works as a contractor.
Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports support:
“On May 6, 2024, I felt severe pain in my right kidney. I went to the emergency room at Sacred Heart Hospital, and after completing all examinations and imaging, it was found that I had developed a clot in my right kidney, which caused the kidney to stop functioning by 15%. The tests were conducted by Dr. Robert Harran, who in turn requested that the examinations be repeated after three months. I returned home with medications to relieve the pain.
One night, my wife—who is devoted to Saint Sharbel and asked for his intercession before the Lord Jesus Christ to heal me—had a dream in which she saw an image of Saint Sharbel approaching her. [The wife says]: “I immediately woke up, rubbed my husband’s kidney with the image of Saint Sharbel, and told him: ‘I am certain that Saint Sharbel has healed you.’”
After three months, I repeated the test, and it was found that my kidney had returned to functioning at 100%, to the doctor’s astonishment. On August 20, 2024, I came with my family to the shrine of Saint Sharbel, and we recorded the miracle. Thank you, Saint Sharbel.”
