Healing Testimony of Edward Kouzhaya Abou Joudeh
Edward Kouzhaya Amin Abou Joudeh, born in Jal El Dib, Lebanon, in 1952, married, a father of two, and a businessman residing in Manaus, Brazil, in the Amazon region.
Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports support: "Due to severe back pain that persisted for a long time, my condition worsened, and I was admitted to the hospital on June 23, 2017. Dr. Franklin Nascimento Andrades oversaw my case and performed an MRI scan of my back. The results revealed seven herniated discs, with one fractured. The doctor recommended undergoing a specialized surgery to fix the 'L1' disc.
I requested some time and began praying to Saint Sharbel, asking for his intercession with the Lord Jesus Christ for my healing. Every evening, I applied Saint Sharbel’s oil to my entire back and prayed fervently. Shortly thereafter, my pain disappeared entirely.
I returned to my doctor and shared my experience. He ordered a new MRI scan, which revealed my complete healing. Astonished and amazed by the results, the doctor canceled the surgery. I returned to my normal life, resuming activities like playing tennis and exercising.
I had made a vow to Saint Sharbel, promising, 'If you heal me, I will visit your shrine and record my miraculous healing.' Fulfilling my promise, I came from Brazil, knelt before his tomb, and thanked him. I recorded the miracle on September 2, 2023, with the full medical report."
