Healing Testimony of Božena Matyasova
Mrs. Božena Matyas Gajza Matyasova, born in 1962 in the Czech Republic, is divorced, has one son, and resides in Smižany. Here is the account of her health condition as shared by her neighbor, Dima Moussa, which her medical reports support:
“I, Dima Moussa, originally from Damascus and living in the same building as Božena, was informed by her on December 18, 2022, that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Tests at Hradec Králové Hospital revealed two tumors in her breast, each 6 cm in size. Doctors told her she didn’t have long to live and would need chemotherapy followed by a full mastectomy. When she shared this with me, I was overwhelmed with sadness and tears.
Moved by her situation, I decided to anoint her with Saint Sharbel's blessed oil, mixed with holy oil from Jerusalem. Two days before her hospital admission, I visited her while she was resting, applied the oil to her chest, hand, and forehead, and explained the significance of the oil, as her faith was weak and she practiced Christianity only minimally.
That night, Saint Sharbel appeared to Božena, he placed his hand on her chest and removed all her pain. When she went to the hospital, she called me on the phone, saying: "They scanned me three times and couldn’t find the tumors. They asked me what I had done, and I replied, 'My neighbor Dima anointed me with Saint Sharbel’s oil and prayed for my healing.'" Skeptical, the doctors conducted a new biopsy from the area where the tumors were previously located. The results came back clear, confirming her complete healing.
Therefore, she took advantage of my trip to Annaya, handed me the medical report, and asked me to thank Saint Sharbel for his intercession and to register the miracle in her name, which I did on August 30, 2023.”
