Healing Testimony of Boutros Youssef Semaan
Dr. Boutros Youssef Semaan, born in Zan, Lebanon, in 1957, is an anesthesiologist living as an expatriate in Pau, France. He is married to Eleanore Vito and a father of two.
Here is his account of his health condition, which his medical reports from France support:
"On July 7, 2023, while returning home from my clinic, a violent storm struck the city of Pau. Two large trees were uprooted and fell directly onto my car around 6:30 p.m. I suffered fractures in my neck, arm, and chest, and was trapped inside the vehicle.
I had a picture of Saint Sharbel in my car. No one came to help me, so I cried out to Saint Sharbel. Suddenly, he appeared before me inside the car and said: ‘Do not be afraid. I am with you. The ambulance will arrive soon to rescue you.’
Soon after, the ambulance arrived, though the rescuers struggled greatly to extract me from the wreck. I was taken to François Mitterrand Hospital, where I spent one month receiving treatment. Afterwards, I was transferred to a specialized rehabilitation hospital for three months of physical therapy, after which I fully recovered and returned to work.
I visited the shrine of Saint Sharbel in Annaya to thank him for the grace of my healing, and I officially recorded the miracle on February 20, 2024, attaching the complete medical report.”
