Healing Testimony for the Twins Sharbel and Chris
The Miracle of Twins Sharbel and Chris. As told by the father, Carlos Raymond Doura, born in Miniara, Lebanon, in 1990, married to Mrs. Nathalie Hanna Hanna, born in 1993:
"In 2020, my wife became pregnant with twins. In the sixth month, we consulted the specialist Dr. Bernard Nassar, who discovered excess water in one of the twin’s sacs. This water posed a danger to both the twins and the mother. The doctor requested that my wife visit him every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday to monitor the water levels in the sac. During the last check-up, we headed to Haykal Hospital for a detailed examination of the water levels, which revealed that the water had increased significantly. We were immediately referred to the Our Lady of the Assumption University Hospital in Jbeil to perform a water extraction procedure—a risky operation for both the mother and the twins.
I contacted my friend Charbel Rahal, who was on his way to visit Saint Sharbel in Annaya. I explained the situation to him and asked him to pray for the success of the operation. He brought back a relic of Saint Sharbel, along with blessed oil, incense, and a candle. I gave my wife Saint Sharbel's blessing to drink, applied the oil to her belly, lit the candle, and burned the incense, praying for the success of the procedure and for the water not to reappear.
The operation to extract the water was performed successfully. In the ninth month, the twins were born healthy. Out of gratitude and faith in the intercession of Saint Sharbel before the Lord Jesus Christ, I named one twin Sharbel and the other Chris. My wife and I, along with the twins, came to visit Saint Sharbel in Annaya, thanked him for their safety, dressed them in his robe, and registered the miracle along with the full medical report on August 25, 2023."
