"Saint Sharbel came into our lives (my wife and children) thanks to a friend, Brother Josemaría from Lebanon. My first daughter (María Isabella) was born prematurely at 6 months gestation. Her diagnosis was not good, the doctors told us that her chances of life were short or almost zero. At that moment we trusted God, our friend Brother Josemaría gave us a card of Saint Sharbel, which we left in our baby's crib. We asked for his intercession and felt his company in moments of anguish. Our daughter suffered from a type of bacteria that took her to an isolated area with worse medical diagnoses. We continue to ask for the intercession of Saint Sharbel, [and] his presence in our lives has been very present. Now our daughter will turn 6 years old in September. She prays to Saint Sharbel. Without a doubt, God has been very generous, and through Saint Sharbel, He has allowed us the grace of life. We ask Saint Sharbel for his intercession and company at all times.
