Healing Testimony for The Child Kate Marwan Assaf
The child Kate Marwan Assaf was born in 2021 in Mansourieh, Lebanon, and her family resides in France. Here is the account of her health condition as shared by her mother, Maria Eid, which the medical reports support:
"On July 31, 2023, my daughter Kate developed a high fever that lasted for five days. We consulted a doctor who immediately requested her admission to the hospital. She was hospitalized in France for 15 days, undergoing multiple tests, including blood tests, X-rays, fibroscopy, and a spleen biopsy on August 17.
During this time, I prayed fervently to Saint Sharbel, the heavenly physician, asking him to prove to all the doctors that Kate was not suffering from cancer but only had a simple virus. However, the doctor informed us that Kate had lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes) and was transferred to a specialized pediatric oncology hospital for further evaluation and treatment planning.
On August 21, 2023, it was decided that Kate would undergo additional tests, including blood tests, X-rays of her chest, head, and abdomen, as well as a bone marrow biopsy. The blood tests and X-rays were completed, but the biopsy was postponed to August 22, the anniversary of the healing of Nohad El-Shami.
On the morning of August 22, we received Saint Sharbel’s relics from Lebanon. I anointed Kate with Saint Sharbel’s oil, gave her the blessings, dressed her in Saint Sharbel’s belt and robe, and she underwent all the required medical tests.
When the results came back, the doctors informed us that the new tests contradicted the previous biopsy and medical findings—Kate no longer had cancer. She was only suffering from a virus, just as I had asked Saint Sharbel to prove to the doctors.
Kate was healed through the intercession of Saint Sharbel and the saints. In gratitude, we recorded the miracle, attaching the full medical report, on September 26, 2023, thanking Saint Sharbel, the heavenly physician."
