At 12 PM, Fr. Theodore Trinko, IVE- Chaplain of the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes celebrated Holy Mass in St. Mary's Chapel.

After the Holy Mass, Father James Brent, O.P. led the Liturgy of the Hours prayers for St. Sharbel followed by the blessing with St. Sharbel’s Relic and holy oil.

Following the blessing, Fr. Brent led a procession with the relic of Saint Sharbel (placed in a cedar-shape reliquary) while the faithful followed singing Maronite hymns. At the shrine, they gathered for the final blessing with the relic.

On Friday, the evening and night prayers prepared for the celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin.
Saturday, August 15, the morning prayers and the Divine Liturgy celebrated the feast of the Assumption.
On this occasion, the group had a special lunch with the monks.

Theodore Trinko carried the Relics of Saint Sharbel, processing with it among the faithful and blessing them as he went by. Meanwhile the choir director chanted in English and Arabic the proper traditional Maronite hymns.
